One of my plans for the relay was to show off my Fairlight  Industries Subtle Supernatural Eyes.  Mine were blue so I ran out and got the purple and used that to build my outfit since I adored the purple eyes on Gidge Uriza in the previous post.  One of the nice features of these prim eyes is they have a glow to them that brightens and fades to look really nice up close at night.

My hair is FNKY! Cake Snowcrash in copper and one of my usual haunts for hair.  It comes with the daisies for the chest covering ponytail.

A couple staples in my wardrobe are the JCNY Lover’s Knot necklace and the Calla Lily wedding rings, both of them never come off.

I ran out to Aphrodite Creations and picked up the AC Braceys purple and silver bangles to carry the purple down from my eyes.

One of my favorite corsets, the Petite Coquine from SF Designs, is something that can translate into a real life purchase.  It was reproduced by agreement in SL with Heavenly Corsets to match the Wasp Waist underbust corset.

Underneath the corset, I wanted something lacey and found it in the Tahani Designs Laced Black top.

Next comes Bax Coen‘s Black Lizzard belt with options to change the metal and the bands around it making it ultra versatile not to mention it comes in at least a dozen separate colors.

I chose the chaps to make the outfit as daring as I could.  They are the Oh Lala Leather & Lace Black Leather Skull Chaps and are crotchless.  They also comes in a version with jeans so if Achariya Maktoum decides to use this and cover up some more she can.

Since I had to cover up, I chose to hold the Naughty and Nice Dotted Fever biker hat to hide my bits.

Ending the outfit are the VvB 7″ Black Casual Mule shoes with black laces.

Phew, that was a long breath to get through all of that and I did my best to live up to the posts before and have completed my first fashion challenge.  I had a blast doing this and hope everyone enjoys my post and outfit as much as I did creating it.  I think I left Achariya enough budget conscious items to continue the relay and the stage is all yours.

The silver on red 1967 Shelby Mustang next to me comes in silver on black, silver on blue and as the black on silver “Eleanor” from the movie ‘Gone in 60 Seconds.  This car is just as detailed as all the vehicles in the shop and carries the same price tag as the GTO.

The motorcycles featured are the AM Pro Tyrant (627 prims) which retail for $2000L.  This is a non themed chopper which comes with a color changing hud for the seat and body and covers 10 different hues.

Not featured in the picture but well worth mentioning is the 1969 Charger that comes in silver or, as you may have guesses, the orange “General Lee” that you see in the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ complete with the flag on the roof and the 01 on the doors.

There are a few more cars and bikes in the store so the place is definitely worth a look if you are in the car market.

All the cars and bikes sold there come with a display model as well as the drivable version which you wear most of the prims so you are able to rez them most places.

Some of the kinkiest fetish latex fashion can be found at Nisei Oh Designs ~nOd~. The Schoolgirl Red latex skirt, jacket with the requisite tie is on the tamer side of some of their offerings. They are also set up on the internet here.

Next up comes Elixir‘s Rocket Girl in black with red trim.

Come take a trip to the stars in this tasty number.  The low waist and cropped top exposes the tummy and begs for a tickling.  The trim adds to the sleek look, daring you to turn on my afterburners.  The fin prim attachements for the arms and legs throw some extra playfulness to the exotic look.  The shoes are the Stiletto Moody black patent stilettos.

The first is the people that put something in their land description to lure you to their shop. I can’t count the number of times I’ve gone to stores in search of something only to be disappointed that the item doesn’t exist at that location. The second liar is me…..to a point. My last post may have had you thinking that latex is something I don’t care for. Some of my first outfits that were actually purchased in world were latex and I got to thinking, I have so much of it I rarely wear any more. So, that said, I reached into the closet, blew the dust off a few things, got out the corn starch and powdered myself up and put on a few of my favorites to show you. This is going to turn into a very long post, I can feel it in my sexy bone .

The first store I’d like to talk about is POC-Powers of Creation. I won’t go into how much latex I have hanging on the cloth hangers in my closet from there but I will tell you there are very few colors of any of the pieces I own from the store.

One of the nicest things with just about every item in the shop, they can be mixed and matched as separates or worn as a complete outfit. Some being lower priced with some at higher prices with nothing in the store costing over 1000L. The corset is the Black/Blood two tone in the medium/medium option. I can’t tell you how many options and layers this comes in(I’m too lazy to count that high) but versions include a short,medium, long length along with open, medium and underbust options. Over it I have the latex croptop with a zipper or not. It too comes in a closed, 50% open and open option for each. Moving down the body is the black latex mini with a laced hip and a full option as well. There is an ultra easy script menu to resize the the front and back prim for the skirt. Sex sells and so do the black latex garters and stockings. Bottoming out, or maybe the final shine to the outfit are the black patent BAX ankle boots. They come in white and red as well with color change options for the strings, eyeleets, sole, tip and heel. Of course she had to include a fur or lace top to the ankle as well. There are also suede versions of these boots. Not to say I’m a fashion trendsetter but I’ve had these boots for well over 6 months and 2 different versions of Bax Cohen’s store. She has many great belts and bracelets as well (trust me, I have a ton). Uh oh, I just went to get the slurl and the welcome greeting said they now have them in pink. I guess I’ll be going back again.

Speaking of fashion, my good friend Kim Dench is an admin for Kayliwulf Kingdom flickr group showing off some tasty latex.  While my wardrobe doesn’t include much latex these days it can be a fun look.  The group is here.

Scenario 1:  Take my new card to store X and drool of outfit one, buy with card…..success.  Find another droolable dress try to use card….only “buy” option and no “use card” option.  Hmmm. Try the next one with no success.  Ok, maybe sl is having difficulties.  Come back later, still no luck using the card.  Deciding to try random items and finding some of them available for purchase with store card and some not.  Puzzled I send a note to owner and get a reply that only items from one of the designers are available for store purchase and “fat packs” are also not restricted.  So I take my card and pick and choose from what I can to use up my $1500L and move on not quite as excited with my purchases.  Later I learn the store has made changes and made everything available through the gift card system which solves future issues for the next shopaholic but has left me feeling a little bit burned having “settled” for some items when I really wanted others.  Lesson learned.

Scenario 2:  Receive a gift certificate for store Y and find out I have to make my choices, fill out a notecard and send it back with the gift certificate texture to the owner who will then send my items to me.  Sorry for the impatience but in the information age lil ole me is impatient and wants instant gratification.  We’ll see how quickly the turn around is on the notecard to delivery.  Hopefully this will be quick for the $1000L spent.  I could understand this system for a small shop not wanting to buy the store card system or develop one of their own but this was a large store with many items and could easily afford the system without breaking the bank.

Those are a couple of what appear to be isolated cases with most store cards working like a charm.  I’ve been able to get my shop on many times before with great success.

Moral of today’s story? KISS-Keep it simple stupid.  I get that from my friends all the time and I’m begging (/me says pretty please)  anyone that is considering gift cards in SL to look around a little before you buy one for someone so they don’t have to go through any hassles making what should be fun and easy purchases.  To the store owners: make it fun and easy and I’ll be back to add to my huge inventory

That out of the way.  I’ve decided to use this forum for 3 things: Random Rants,  sing praises of my fashion finds and to post some of the adventures I find in Second Life.  Gosh, when will I find time for RL? /me giggles
